cyanotype printmaking workshops
i'm delighted to invite you to join my in the studio for a day of experimentation with the fascinating process of cyanotype making.
invented in 1842, this is the oldest form of photography. however, we don't need a camera, or the ability to draw - don't worry! instead this workshop teaches you how to make art using light by arranging objects on studio prepared paper.
you'll see them change colour three times before your eyes in this exciting technique.
i have a wonderful selection of objects for you to use from pressed botanicals to weird and wonderful objects such as watch cogs and vintage lace.
it's also a maximum of four people at a time... so there's lots of time, space and tuition to help you get the most out of your day here at the beautiful thoresby park.
this is an invitation to leave the world behind you and get lost in play, treat yourself and maybe someone you love too...
i have created some dedicated instagram pages for you to see examples of the workshops here
ps if you are a larger group and/or need ground floor access, please get in touch and every effort will be made to accommodate you here or in a space that meets your needs...

please read the terms & conditions below prior to booking your workshop
